Metrosol Hires 17-Year Semiconductor Industry Veteran,
Sean Jameson, as Vice President of Sales

Metrosol, Inc., a developer, manufacturer and worldwide supplier of short wavelength optical metrology solutions, today announced that semiconductor industry veteran, Sean Jameson, is joining Metrosol as Vice President of Sales. Mr. Jameson will be tasked with managing the company's global sales force and increasing the company's penetration at key customer fabs.

"Sean is recognized for his world-class expertise in semiconductor metrology buisness development. He has a demonstrated track record of business growth and customer satisfaction in his more tha 18 years of experience in the semiconductor manufacturing equipment market, primarily in metrology and yield management solutions," said Kevin Fahey, Metrosol's chief executive officer. "That combination makes him ideal to fill the role of vice president of sales at Metrosol as we accelerate our efforts to provide our customers in the semiconductor and data storage industries with the vacuum ultraviolet (VUV) metrology solutions they require to optimize their advanced processes."

Prior to joining Metrosol, Jameson was vice president of sales and marketing at Jordan Valley Semiconductor's Inc., where he was responsible for all aspects of sales, marketing, customer support and U.S. operations management. Before his stint at Jordan Valley Semiconductor, he was employed at KLA-Tencor, serving first as central regional metrology manager, than as technical director and finally as senior account manager. Mr. Jameson has also held various roles in applications management and account management at Tencor Instruments and Prometrix Corp. Prior to that, he was a metrology and photolighography engineer at SEMATECH.
